Why your Vinted label prints with a huge white border (and how to fix it)
You hit print and the label is tiny in the middle of the label stock, surrounded by blank space. Or it spills off the edge entirely. Both are the same problem: you're printing an A4 PDF on 4×6 stock without cropping first.
It's not your printer settings
Most sellers spend time tweaking scale percentages, margins, and "fit to page" settings in Acrobat or their printer driver. None of it fully works. The Vinted PDF is A4. Your label stock is 4×6. No printer setting fixes a format mismatch — you need to extract the label region from the page first.
The label itself is the right size. It just comes packaged with courier instructions and whitespace that balloon the PDF to A4.
Why tweaking print settings doesn't work
"Fit to page" shrinks the whole A4 document to fit on 4×6 stock — which means the label itself ends up at about 40% of its intended size, making the barcode potentially unscannable.
"Actual size" or 100% scale prints the label at the right size but the A4 page crops off the sides, meaning the barcode or address may be cut off depending on where it sits on the page.
Neither option solves the problem. You need to crop first.
The fix: crop to 4×6 before printing
SnipShip reads your Vinted dispatch PDF, finds the label area on each page, and exports a print-ready 4×6 file. Drop the PDF in, SnipShip crops it automatically, then you download and print. No manual selection, no scale guessing.
- Download your label PDF from Vinted after booking InPost, DPD, or Evri.
- Open SnipShip in Chrome and drop in the PDF.
- SnipShip crops to 4×6 automatically. Preview the result.
- Download and print — barcode and address fill the full label.
When manual crop still matters
Unusual courier formats or one-off edge cases occasionally need a manual rotation or re-crop. SnipShip includes a manual crop fallback for those situations — drag to select the label area yourself if the auto-detect ever gets it wrong.
